Our First Day At Liahona 9/8/08

Alright, so were writing this story about 7 months late, but we feel it is very important, and must be shared. So we got our licenses on September 3rd, 5 days before school started. So on the first day, we were so excited to drive to school all by ourselves for the very first time. The whole way there we listened to Let It Rock on repeat. It was awesome. Our school is kinda stupid, but it's not out school anymore-but we'll get back to that later. Last year, Liahona was being held at an abandoned church in Orem. But this year, the new school was finally built! Well, kind of. On the first day, it wasn't even done. It still looked like a construction site, so we were only going to that building for the first day, and classes would be held at thanksgiving point for the rest of the week. Long story. Me and sarah woke up really late that morning, because we stayed up watching what happens in vegas the night before. Excellent movie. So we were in a rush to get ready for school. Jessica wore a black shirt, tan pants, and black boots with peace signs on them. Sarah wore a gray and white striped sweater that is no longer with her, brown pants, and zebra print shoes. So pretty much, we thought we looked like crap. And at public school, we probably would have, but at liahona-not so much. The students there aren't really fashion forward, so to speak. So basically, i guess we alright. So we walked in the front doors, and got name tags from the student council, it was weird. But, we saw Caleb! Who we love! We met him at drivers ed that summer, and were surprised to find out he goes to our school. So we chatted with him, and then made our way into the library for an assembly. Where we proceeded to say an opening prayer, and then the pledge. If you hadn't already guessed by the name of our school, we are a Mormon school. Kinda lame. After the assembly, we went to all of our classes, seminary being first. Brother Hess was our teacher, and we love him alot. Next we had math with Brother Cook, then english with Sister Wilburn, Science with Brother Neisswender, and then history with Sister Call. We love all of our teachers, except for all of them except Brother Hess. After history, our first day of school was officially over!!! So we hopped into Jessica's white suzuki, and drove to Jessica's house. Where we ate dinosaur chicken nuggets. So after about three months of this routine, we were over it. So we decided, hey, lets go to public school! So one day we announced it to our science class, that after christmas break, we would be going to PG high. And one young gentleman with the name of Wyatt, who we used to love, told us we were going to hell because public school was wicked, for sinners. Okayyyyy Wyatt, whatever you say. So we went anyways. So now, we are currently at PG, and lovin' it. Right now, its spring break. And we have nothing to do, so were writing this blog. Stay tuned for more!
